ANR then goes into a deep depression and comes back to his normal life with a caring and affectionate nurse, Saarada and then marries her. Now Jayalalitha realizes what she has missed, but when tries to come back to ANR, it is too late. In the climax, she dies by saving her kids in a quarry blasting accident. |

Sobhan Babu and his educated maradalu, Jaya Sudha are in love with each other, but his mEna mAma, Allu insults him that Sobhan doesn`t deserve his daughter and then Sobhan Babu challenges that he would marry a better girl. Then he marries Jaya Chitra, a niece of a cruel landlord, Sathyanarayana. Sobhan Babu comes to know that the sadistic Sathyanarayana mercilessly kills his father during his childhood. In the climax, Sobhan Babu punishes Sathyanarayana in the same way his father was tortured to death, but leaves him alive on his mother`s request. Sobhan Babu said that he had taken an inspiration from the mannerisms of a person at his native place (Chinna Nandigama, Kriushna dt.) while playing this title role and Sobhan Babu felicitated that elder person during the 100th day celebrations of this movie. This movie remains as one of my BEST favorite movies from the 70`s. 1975 was the best year for Sobhan Babu in his entire career, as he had super hits with an excellent combination of family and action entertainers such as bali peeTham, jeevana jyOti, jEbu donga, and ofcourse sOggADu. |

KV Mahadevan usually gets the tune ready only when the lyrics are ready. The producer is very fond of an annamAchArya keertana (konDalapai nelakonna) and he got this tune ready by mAma on the lines of that keertana in the late 70`s itself, but he could not use the tune for his movies like triSUlam and abhimanyuDu. Finally, he used the tune in this movie and Athreya penned down the apt lyrics to the tune. This movie is one of the two movies with Jandhyala-mAma combination (the other one being vichitra prEma, which was released later). Also, this one is mAma`s 551st movie. But in the movie titles, the writer name appears as Rama Lakshmi (Mrs Arudra). I heard Dasari had to go around the courts because of this plagiarism issue, although the movie was a superhit. Sujatha debuted into Telugu with this movie. |

Kanchana dies after she delivers a boy and since then Sarada starts hating the rich people like Giri Babu. On his death-bed, Giri Babu reveals the secret to Krishna and requests him to take care of his kid (played by Baby Varalakshmi). When Krishna goes to get the kid, he is shocked to see another Sarada there. He gradually starts loving her, but she keeps putting him at a bay fearing that he too would be similar to his brother. Finally, she realizes the genuine love of Krishna and unites with him. |
